Die Trumpiliner (lat. Trumpilini, auch Trumplini) waren ein antiker Volksstamm, dessen Wohnsitze im Val Trompia, einem der drei HaupttΓ€ler der Provinz Brescia, lagen.

Der rΓΆmische Schriftsteller Plinius der Γ„ltere sprach unter Berufung auf die Origines von Cato dem Γ„lteren von den Trumpilini als einem von mehreren StΓ€mmen der Euganeer.cite-ref-1[1]

Das Tropaeum Alpium im heutigen La Turbie (erbaut 7/6 v. Chr.) nennt die Trumpiliner in der Liste der 16/15 v. Chr. in den augusteischen AlpenfeldzΓΌgen besiegten AlpenvΓΆlker.cite-ref-2[2] Die bei Plinius erhaltene SekundΓ€rΓΌberlieferung der Inschrift enthΓ€lt den Verschreiber Triumpilini.cite-ref-3[3]
